Of course.
Where I work, we listen to an oldies station that plays a ton of 50's pop. I noticed that the song "I'll Be There" by the Four Tops has a melody that would be at home in a glam song, all the way down to the hooks and shouted lyrics. Anybody else?
Of course.
And talking of old songs, anybody else notice that the new U2 hit "Vertigo" is an awful lot like "Keep Me Hanging On" by...ummm, I forget who.

Well, The Supah SU-premes did it originally. Later on, Carmine Appice's Vanilla Fudge did a sloooowww cover. I've not heard The Rods' version, is it like The Supremes or Vanilla Fudge's??
Thank ya Jay, The Supremes. But if you hear the new U2 tune, you can't help but notice the similarities. Good song, but still...
(You Just)Keep Me Hangin' On...
Covered by Vanilla Fudge, but in a sloooow version.
